• Overview

         The United States of America, also known as the USA, is situated between the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans, with the borders to Canada in the north and    Mexico in the south. It is one of most ethnically varied and multicultural countries in the world. The indigenous people were of Asian descent. The country is so large that it has weather of every type from humid continental in the north to tropical on the southern tip of Florida. From high rise New York to the wide open spaces of the west, this is a country of contrasts. 

• Climate

       When in Morocco, you can go around the country by plane, bus, train, taxi or car. Whilst planes are not the most popular modes of travel due to their expensive nature, they are available extensively across the country.

       With a land mass covering six time zones, the United States has climates ranging from Arctic to deserts. Climates vary greatly on location and also latitude. The California coast sees a more Mediterranean climate with the Pacific Nothwest experiences cooler summers and mild winters. The central portion of the U.S. can see very cold winters along with brutally hot summers and temperatures well above 37 degrees Celsius. The east coast and southern regions are more humid while the southwestern portion of the country is semiarid and contains deserts. Weather will travel from west to east. The United States are also affected by severe weather such as tornadoes, hurricanes, blizzards, floods and severe thunderstorms.
