   Visit United Arab Emirates

  • - Overview :

The United Arab Emirates, or UAE, is a federation in south west Asia, on thePersian gulf. The Emirates are, Abu Dhabi, Ajman Dubai, Fujairah, Ras al-Khaimah, Sharjah and Umm al-Quwain, with Abu Dhabi being the capital. The climate is sub-tropical-arid with very hot summers and warm winters. The culture of the Emirati mainly centers on the religion of Islam and traditional Arab and Bedouin culture. Visiting the Emirates can be an eclectic mix of activities, from high end shopping and high rise buildings in Dubai to gentle seas and snorkeling in Fujairah.
  •  Climate :

The climate for the United Arab Emirates is mainly subtropical and arid. With a country bisected by the Tropic of Cancer, the UAE tends to be warm in the winter with very hot and humid conditions being felt during the summer months. The average temperature can range throughout the country from 12 degrees to 23 degrees Celsius. The summer temperatures are usually around 28 to 38 degrees. The humidity is also a factor, especially near the coast and can be higher than 85%. There is very little rainfall in the UAE. Most of the wet weather comes from short showers. The wettest months are February and March. Summer can bring isolated thunderstorms where the associated winds can create massive sandstorms.
  •  Transportation :

Getting around UAE can most easily be done by car, though Dubai is building a monorail system, most of the cities offer little public transportation. The road system is modern and renting a car is as easy as any other country, though you will need an International Driver’s license.

Intercity bus services are comfortable and quick and you can find taxis available in the cities of Dubai, Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi.
